Filament Nebula HIPS 404 Natural Support 1.75mm 1kg
Product Description
Filament Nebula HIPS 404 Natural Support 1.75mm 1kg
Filament Nebula HIPS 404 1.75 mm | Natural (Support / Structural) | 1kg (1000g)
Discover a versatile dual-use material that combines high mechanical resistance with the ability to chemically dissolve supports. Nebula HIPS 404 filament in a natural shade of ivory (Natural) on a full 1 kg spool is a high impact polystyrene (High Impact Polystyrene), created both as an independent construction material and as a soluble support material for advanced dual-head printing (IDEX / Dual Extrusion) in combination with ABS or ASA.
Thanks to its full solubility in terpene solutions (e.g. D-limonene), HIPS 404 allows for non-invasive and traceless removal of even the most complex internal supports and fine geometries. At the same time, when used as a base material, it is characterized by excellent impact resistance, high stiffness, chemical resistance and aesthetic surface finish. Ready-made prints are perfect for mechanical processing (grinding, drilling, milling) and varnishing.
Main advantages of the Nebula HIPS 404 filament:
- Dual functionality: Indispensable as a soluble support material for ABS and ASA and as a light, durable construction polymer.
- Easy removal in terpenes: Dissolves in D-limonene, enabling the production of parts with complex internal channels and overhangs without traces of mechanical removal of supports.
- High impact strength: The modified polystyrene structure provides resistance to cracking, impacts and operational stresses.
- Pure Natural base: Natural polymer color without artificial dyes - an ideal base for further painting, priming and varnishing of models.
- Excellent consistency and machinability: Durable interlayer adhesion and susceptibility to precise mechanical processing (grinding, drilling, gluing).
